That is exactly how Bones is lightening the mood this
Thursday after two emotional episodes dealing with
the death and aftermath of Sweets' (John Francis
Daley) shocking death.
No, Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily
Deschanel) walking into "a sex dungeon" isn't the set-
up for a joke or the beginning of a fan fiction story a
la Fifty Shades of Grey. It's what is going down in our
exclusive sneak peek at the Fox hit's all-new episode,
"The Purging of the Pundit."

While the team bid an emotional farewell to Sweets
in the last episode, executive producer Stephen
Nathan said fans shouldn't expect to see the show
take on a darker tone.
"Bones is not going to turn into a dark show where
they are dealing with these demons all of the time,"
he said. "We are going to be back on our traditional
Bones footing very quickly."
Hence the whips and chains and bondage of it all!
Bones airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on Fox.
