Jennifer Lopez has taken to Instagram to reveal she was involved in a car accident with a drunk driver over the weekend. The Booty singer and actress pal Leah Remini were on their way to a Demi Lovato concert with their children when the collision happened.
It is thought Remini was driving the car - with Lopez's twins and her daughter in the back - when they were struck from behind by a pickup truck. Thankfully, no one was injured in the clash, but the man was reportedly arrested for driving under the influence and hit and run.
Shortly after the incident, Jen posted a snap of herself and Leah on Instagram, along with the caption: "Sitting at a light, Riding high right before some drunk fool rear ended us in my new whip!!! "Thank god everyone ok!!! #GRATEFUL #THANKYOUGOD #DontdrinkandDrive!!!! #cursedthatfoolout #theBronxcameout #dontmesswithmycocnuts #mamabear #leahstayedcalm #thatwasweird."
The 45-year old later uploaded a pic of her daughter Emme and Leah's daughter Sofia meeting Demi backstage, captioning the image: "Such an eventful day for these little ones...hanging w the big girls!! Thank you @ddlovato for being sooo sweet!!"
