The News! ROLLING IN THE CASH: ADELE EARNS £80,000 PER DAY

When will she step back into the limelight?

Despite not releasing an album since 21 came out in 2011, singer Adele is still earning up to £80,000 per day.

The record earned her a massive £54 million in the 22 months up until December 2013 through her companies Melted Stone and Melted Stone publishing.

Melted Stone made £30 million over 14 months up to April 2013, plus another £8 million throughout the rest of the year and Adele paid herself a dividend of £5.2 million in the second half of 2013 with a salary of £5.6 million in the first half and £2.86 million in the latest accounting period.

Her company Melted Stone publishing made £14.4 million and between them the two firms made £13.3 million profit – a tidy sum for Adele to pop in the bank.

It's not bad going considering she hasn't released an album for nearly four years, instead devoting herself to being a mum to two-year-old Angelo.

However, Adele is reportedly working on her highly anticipated third studio album, which is set to be released in 2015. She is also undergoing 'photo-healing therapy' to cure her of her fear of being pictured ahead of her return to the limelight. A source previously said: "Adele has always been camera shy but with her big comeback imminent her fear of being thrust back into the limelight is growing.

"She knows she will have paps following her every move when her album is released and wants to be better prepared. A close friend recommended Adele got in touch with a photographer in the US known as 'the photo healer' for some Skype therapy sessions."
