Kesha's mum, Pebe Sebert, has hit the headlines thanks to her involvement in Kesha's current lawsuit against long-time producer Dr. Luke. However, while perusing Pebe's Twitter feed, we came across this throwback photo of Kesha and Ariana Grande circa February 2012 – and isn't it amazing?!
Both clutching electric guitars, both girls look incredibly youthful, but then-18-year-old Ariana is particularly baby faced.
Clad a bright pink hoodie and baby pink velour joggers, her hair dyed bright red, Ms. Grande isn't quite the style star we've come to know and love – but were we at 18?
Definitely not
Kesha, meanwhile, is working it in a purple velour robe with regal gold trim. Wearing sunglasses indoors, her hair is tied back, and she's happily posing for Mama Sebert's camera (phone).
Kesha and Ariana once appeared together in the Victorious episode Ice Cream For Ke$ha, while the artist formerly known as Ke-dollar sign-ha co-wrote Ariana's track 'Pink Champagne', and even spoke about her in Seventeen magazine.
"Ariana is so talented! She's not trying to be anyone but herself and she has an incredible voice," said Kesh.
Here's hoping we see the ladies working together again – or at least hanging out – soon!
